The court is in some serious trouble.
I was reading an article today that the Bush administration is "ready" for when Reinqhuist announces his retirement.
Then... today I read that Justice Sandra Day O'Connor, first woman on U.S. Supreme Court, is retiring.
This court is going to be in some serious doo doo.
I anticipate having to say the Pledge of Allegiance every day at work now...
I anticipate being FORCED to put up a Ten Commandments in every office.
This is a blow to my sensibilities....

Bye bye rights.
Reinqhuist leaving wont change anything because he's a Conservative who will be replaced by the same. OConnor, WILL make a difference but only on abortion. She's a Conservative too, but will swing on abortion issues. Their is talk of having our Attorney General Gonzales replace her...this is the guy who crafted the legal rational for using torture at Gitmo. Scary Guy
Gonzalez is too moderate for the Gods Guns and Gays crowd. No way Bush appoints a moderate. There would be rioting in the streets of South Carolina! The only people supporting him now is the ultra conservative religious base. If he pisses them, the Republicans can kiss the Senate goodbye, maybe even the House...
"Matt Mueller" thats kind of a weird handle....dont you think Smelmooo?
Weird or not... I am beginning to wonder if the two of you know each other. MM and his wife literally lives around the corner from the art museum and you live or work there.
Interesting...
Here's another theroy. Noone has ever seen us in the same room together......maybe we actually are the same person!
