I'm still amazed at Janet's inventiveness with situations for Stephanie Plum, but this one didn't make me laugh as much as some of her earlier books. Although I love Ranger, I like Stephenie's relationship with Joe, and I enjoy their interactions more when they are a couple. I will admit to laughing out loud, as usual, while reading this. Hard not to in any situation involving Lula and Grandma Mazur and an open flame.
