King Tut Exhibit -- What Impressed Us

So... muh wife and I took a long ass weekend to Philadelphia where we ate lots and lots of food, but we took a 2 hour pit stop at the Franklin Institute to see the King Tut exhibit.

As a history buff, I love this stuff and was looking forward to it. We were herded into the exhibit and we made our way through the tremendous ... stuff and artifacts.

There were original gold pectorals.

There were original ornamental Ankhs and chairs.

There were pieces of furniture from his tomb.

It was all old and it was wonderful... even the really cool cobra jewelry...

We ooohed and ahhhed. We marveled and thoroughly enjoyed our short visit through history...

Then... we walked into the gift shop...

Something on the shelf actually made us squeal with delight...

It was a tissue box holder in the shape of King Tut's mummy mask. What made it awesome was that you pulled the tissues out the mask's nose!

Awesome.

You can buy your own.. right here.
